December 2013 – Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America was recently presented with two prestigious honors in the 22nd annual National Mature Media Awards program. The awards honor the nation’s highest standard of marketing and communications designed and produced for older adults.

Edwin M. Shafer named Outstanding Fundraising Executive
December 2013 – The Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Wichita Chapter recently presented the 2013 Outstanding Fundraising Executive Award to Edwin M. Shafer, FAHP, CFRE. Shafer is senior vice president of development at Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America.

October 2013 – “I’m truly proud of this one,” said Barbara Booth, a volunteer at the manor. “This is my Clay Center poem. “It combines  the push to get a new museum with the awareness of friends in a nursing home — in this case, the Presbyterian Manor, but it can also be any nursing home.”
